Join eNRG Kayaking for a whopping good time in an Introduction to Kayak Fishing class on the Willamette River.

Located at the base of Willamette Falls in the heart of the best spring Chinook Salmon fishing in the region, eNRG Kayaking is your hookup for dropping into top notch fishing from a kayak. This 2 hour program will run through the basics of kayak fishing while in kayaks specifically set up for fishing. You will learn basic kayak fishing techniques and safety information. Enjoy scenic views of Willamette Falls while passing herons, geese, & osprey as you learn techniques for catching Salmon, Shad, and Small-mouth bass from a kayak. Paddlers will drift and troll down-river from our shop in Oregon City on the mighty Willamette, working great fishing holes along the way. We will provide all the equipment, instruction, and a shuttle back to the shop.
The course fee includes your boat, paddle & Lifejacket, instruction, rod / reel / quick fish lure set up and shuttle back to shop.
Participants should bring clothing that can get wet & splash gear (rain coat/pants etc). You can bring your own fishing equipment if you like (poles over 9 .5 feet are not recommended. Wet suits are available for rent, and fishing licenses are required for all participants. Fisherman’s Marine across from our shop sell one day licenses for around $17 and the best bate on the market is available at our shop for an additional charge.
When: 4pm start Mon-Thurs, 1:30pm & 4pm start Friday, 9:30am, 12pm, 2:30pm start Sat. & Sun. Reservations required.
