Team Oregon
eNRG Kayaking is proud to announce the establishment of the Oregon Whitewater Team. The OWT mission is to develop the youth paddling community in the Pacific Northwest by introducing children and young adults to paddlesports. Through the establishment of a year-round development and training program for children and young adults, Team Oregon athletes will develop thier skills. Team Oregon training will prepare athletes for a variety of disciplines: freestyle, head-to-head racing, ocean surfing, slalom, downriver, sprint, and extreme racing. Team Oregon is sanctioned by the U.S. Canoe and Kayak Team as an official Olympic development organization. 
Development Schedule
OWT will hold development sessions several times/year to give kids introductions to paddlesports. Coaching will give children the advantage of learning to paddling in a safe, fun-filled and low-pressure environment.
Kids will be grouped according to age and skill level. Group 1 will be for children ages 8-12. Group 2 will be for young adults ages 13-17.

Elite Coaching Program As our young paddlers progress and develop their skills Team Oregon will provide these individuals opportunities to take their talent to the next level. In this program Team Oregon will set training schedules and help athletes developing training logs, study nutrition, and follow a racing schedule. Athletes will have the opportunity to attend training events and competitions such as the North American Junior Olympics and other regional events Development Sessions
Cost per Week - $85 (2-2hr Flatwater Sessions, 1 3.5 hour River Trip) Cost per Session - $30 per Flatwater Session, $65 per River Trip
